How to Use

A Controlled Process for
Reliable Soldering.

Consistent soldering starts with proper preparation, controlled paste application, accurate component placement, and appropriate heat management. Adjust your process according to the PCB, component, equipment, and specific repair procedure.

01
Preparation

Prepare the Surface

Make sure the PCB pads and soldering area are clean and properly prepared before applying solder paste.

02
Application

Apply the Paste

Dispense a controlled amount of solder paste onto the intended pads or soldering area. Avoid applying more material than the joint requires.

03
Positioning

Align the Component

Carefully position the component and verify alignment with the PCB pads before beginning the heating process.

04
Reflow

Apply Controlled Heat

Apply heat appropriate for the component and PCB until the solder reaches proper reflow. Avoid unnecessary or prolonged heat exposure.

05
Inspection

Cool & Inspect

Allow the assembly to cool naturally, then inspect the component alignment and solder joints before returning the device to service.

Professional Tip

The 183°C melting point describes the Sn63/Pb37 alloy and is not a universal hot-air, soldering iron, or reflow temperature setting. Actual equipment settings will vary with PCB thermal mass, component size, airflow, heat transfer, and the repair process.
