PolarTronix Liquid Metal Shield is a conformal coating designed to create a protective barrier around processors and other areas where liquid metal thermal compounds are being applied.
Added Protection for Liquid Metal Applications
Apply Liquid Metal Shield around exposed components surrounding a CPU, GPU, or APU before applying liquid metal. Once cured, the coating creates an insulating protective layer over the treated area.
This provides an additional layer of protection if a small amount of liquid metal moves beyond the intended thermal contact surface.
Ideal for PS5 Liquid Metal Repair
Liquid Metal Shield is especially useful during PS5 liquid metal replacement and repair. The coating can be applied around the APU and nearby exposed components as part of surface preparation before replacement liquid metal is installed.
