Available in both straight and curved ceramic-tip configurations, technicians can choose the style that best matches the access, visibility, and positioning requirements of the task.

Straight and curved tweezers share the same precision-tool purpose but provide different approach angles. Keeping both styles available on the repair bench gives technicians more flexibility when working around components, shields, connectors, and confined PCB areas.

Ceramic Tip vs. Conventional Metal Tip
Ceramic Working End
Uses a dedicated ceramic tip assembly at the point of contact while retaining a familiar precision tweezer body for controlled electronics work.
Metal Working End
Conventional precision tweezers typically extend the metal body material through the working tip, creating a different contact surface and tool construction.
Replacement ceramic-tip assemblies are available separately for both PolarTronix models. CT-01 uses the straight replacement tip and CT-02 uses the curved replacement tip. Both replacement sets include screws.

Ceramic tips are precision working surfaces and should be handled accordingly. Proper use, routine inspection, and careful storage help maintain tip alignment and keep your Ceramic Tweezers ready for detailed electronics work.
Check the Tips
Inspect the ceramic tips periodically for visible damage, wear, contamination, or changes in alignment before precision work.
Keep Them Clean
Keep the working surfaces free from debris and residue that could interfere with precise contact or component handling.
Avoid Side Loading
Use the tweezers for controlled gripping and positioning. Avoid using the ceramic tips for prying, twisting, or applying unnecessary sideways force.
Store Carefully
Store the tweezers where the ceramic tips will not be struck, crushed, or placed under pressure from other tools on the workbench.
Protecting Ceramic Tips
Precision Handling
- Use controlled pressure when gripping components.
- Keep the ceramic contact surfaces clean.
- Check tip alignment before detailed work.
- Store the tool where the tips remain protected.
- Replace damaged or worn tip assemblies when needed.
Excessive Force
- Do not use the ceramic tips as a pry tool.
- Avoid twisting components with excessive force.
- Avoid unnecessary sideways pressure on the tips.
- Do not allow heavy tools to rest on the ceramic tips.
- Do not continue precision work with visibly damaged tips.
Replace the Tip.
Keep the Tweezer.
If a ceramic tip assembly becomes damaged or requires replacement, you do not need to replace the entire tweezer. PolarTronix offers dedicated replacement ceramic tips for both CT-01 Straight and CT-02 Curved Ceramic Tweezers.
