Ceramic Tweezers Product Guide

Precision Control for Electronics Repair Work

Straight and curved ceramic-tip tweezers designed for precise component handling, electronics repair, microsoldering, and detailed board-level work.

Precision Handling for Electronics

Precise Control.
Two Tip Styles.

PolarTronix Ceramic Tweezers are designed for precise component handling during electronics repair, microsoldering, assembly, and detailed board-level work. Available in both straight and curved ceramic-tip configurations, technicians can choose the style that best matches the access, visibility, and positioning requirements of the task.

01 / PRECISION

Controlled Component Handling

Fine ceramic tips provide a focused contact point for handling small components and working around detailed PCB areas.

02 / STRAIGHT

Direct Tip Access

The straight-tip version provides a direct approach for component positioning, general precision handling, and detailed electronics work.

03 / CURVED

Angled Tip Access

The curved-tip version provides an angled approach that can improve access and viewing clearance around compact work areas.

04 / SERVICEABLE

Replaceable Ceramic Tips

Replacement ceramic-tip sets are available for both the straight and curved versions, allowing the tweezer body to remain in service when the tip assembly needs replacement.

One Tool Family. Two Approaches.

Straight and curved tweezers share the same precision-tool purpose but provide different approach angles. Keeping both styles available on the repair bench gives technicians more flexibility when working around components, shields, connectors, and confined PCB areas.

Designed to Stay Serviceable

The ceramic tip assemblies are replaceable rather than requiring replacement of the entire tool. Straight and curved replacement tips are available separately and include the required screws.

Choose the Tip for the Work

Tip style should be selected according to component size, access angle, surrounding board geometry, visibility, and the specific electronics repair or assembly procedure.

Ideal Applications

Built for Detailed
Electronics Work.

From board-level repair to precision component handling, PolarTronix Ceramic Tweezers provide controlled access for detailed electronics work where accuracy and visibility matter. Choose straight or curved tips according to the approach required by the work area.

01 / MICRO

Microsoldering

Precise handling and positioning around small components during detailed board-level soldering and rework.

02 / PCB

PCB Repair

Controlled access around compact PCB areas, connectors, shields, pads, and surrounding board-level components.

03 / COMPONENTS

Small Component Handling

Fine-tip control for picking, positioning, organizing, and handling small electronic components during repair or assembly.

04 / REWORK

Board-Level Rework

Useful for detailed rework procedures where controlled positioning and access around closely spaced components are important.

05 / ASSEMBLY

Electronics Assembly

Precision handling for small parts and components during electronics assembly, prototyping, inspection, and bench work.

06 / INSPECTION

Inspection & Positioning

Fine control for positioning small parts under magnification and working within detailed electronic assemblies.

Straight for Direct Access

Straight ceramic tips provide a direct approach to the work area, making them a versatile choice for general component handling, positioning, assembly, and microsoldering tasks.

Curved for Angled Access

Curved ceramic tips provide an angled approach that can improve viewing clearance and access when surrounding components or board geometry make a direct approach less convenient.

Professional Bench Setup

Keeping both straight and curved Ceramic Tweezers available gives technicians two approach options without changing the basic precision handling workflow.

Why Ceramic Tips?

Precision Starts
at the Tip.

The working end of a precision tweezer matters. PolarTronix Ceramic Tweezers combine a professional tweezer body with fine ceramic tips designed for controlled handling during detailed electronics repair, assembly, and board-level work.

01 / CERAMIC

Ceramic Working Tips

Ceramic forms the working end of the tool, providing technicians with a dedicated precision tip for detailed electronics handling and positioning.

02 / FINE TIP

Focused Contact

Fine tip geometry provides a small contact area for controlled handling of compact electronic components and detailed board-level work.

03 / OPTIONS

Straight or Curved

Choose straight ceramic tips for a direct approach or curved ceramic tips when an angled approach and additional viewing clearance are preferred.

04 / REPLACEABLE

Serviceable Tip Design

The ceramic tip assemblies can be replaced separately, allowing technicians to service the working end without replacing the complete tweezer body.

Ceramic Tip vs. Conventional Metal Tip

Conventional Tweezers

Metal Working End

Conventional precision tweezers typically extend the metal body material through the working tip, creating a different contact surface and tool construction.

Replace the Tip. Keep the Tool.

Replacement ceramic-tip assemblies are available separately for both PolarTronix models. CT-01 uses the straight replacement tip and CT-02 uses the curved replacement tip. Both replacement sets include screws.

Care & Maintenance

Protect the Tool.
Maintain the Tips.

Ceramic tips are precision working surfaces and should be handled accordingly. Proper use, routine inspection, and careful storage help maintain tip alignment and keep your Ceramic Tweezers ready for detailed electronics work.

01 / INSPECT

Check the Tips

Inspect the ceramic tips periodically for visible damage, wear, contamination, or changes in alignment before precision work.

02 / CLEAN

Keep Them Clean

Keep the working surfaces free from debris and residue that could interfere with precise contact or component handling.

03 / PROTECT

Avoid Side Loading

Use the tweezers for controlled gripping and positioning. Avoid using the ceramic tips for prying, twisting, or applying unnecessary sideways force.

04 / STORE

Store Carefully

Store the tweezers where the ceramic tips will not be struck, crushed, or placed under pressure from other tools on the workbench.

Protecting Ceramic Tips

Avoid

Excessive Force

  • Do not use the ceramic tips as a pry tool.
  • Avoid twisting components with excessive force.
  • Avoid unnecessary sideways pressure on the tips.
  • Do not allow heavy tools to rest on the ceramic tips.
  • Do not continue precision work with visibly damaged tips.
Serviceable Design

Replace the Tip.
Keep the Tweezer.

If a ceramic tip assembly becomes damaged or requires replacement, you do not need to replace the entire tweezer. PolarTronix offers dedicated replacement ceramic tips for both CT-01 Straight and CT-02 Curved Ceramic Tweezers.

Always use the replacement tip designed for your tweezer model: CT-01 Straight or CT-02 Curved.
