What Thermal Pads Do
Thermal pads are soft, thermally conductive materials designed to transfer heat between electronic components and heatsinks.
They are commonly used in applications where small gaps exist between surfaces and traditional thermal paste cannot maintain reliable contact.
Thermal pads help move heat away from components such as VRAM memory modules, voltage regulation modules (VRM), power delivery components,
chipsets, SSD controllers, and laptop or console cooling systems.
